We take caring for the environment very seriously and we are commited to reducing the global and local effects of the company's activities.
Each year we calculate our carbon emissions from activities such as driving the company cars and heating and lighting our office. We take steps to offset these emissions by planting trees. One morning each year, members of staff get their hands dirty planting trees in muddy fields!

2005 - 2006 In the 2005/06 financial year, we produced 97.07 tonnes of CO² emissions, meaning we needed to plant 134 trees to offset our emissions for that year.

2006 - 2007 In the 2006/07 financial year, we produced 95.8 tonnes of CO² emissions, a decrease of 1.27 tonnes on the previous year. We therefore needed to plant 132 trees to offset our emissions for that year.

2007 - 2008 In the 2007/08 financial year, we produced 86.5 tonnes of CO² emissions, a decrease of 9.3 tonnes on the previous year. We therefore now need to plant 119 trees to offset our emissions for the last year. We are currently in the process of finding a suitable site to plant this year's trees. We will update this section once we have planted the trees, probably in February 2009. |
